Gaithersburg, MD – Thursday, August 22 – The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) Young Professionals Group had a wonderful opportunity to mix & mingle with the Frederick Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group – “Generation Connect” on Wednesday, August 21 at Worthington Manor Golf Club.
Over 70 young professionals gathered together to wrap up the summer, welcome new friends, and catch up with old acquaintances. Worthington Manor also allotted Young Professionals from either Chamber the opportunity to participate in a putting clinic or full swing clinic prior to the networking event.
“It’s great to see the next generation of business men and women come networking together. With this group of young professionals, our future is in good hands,” said Marilyn Balcombe, GGCC Executive Director. The GGCC’s next Young Professionals event will be held on Wednesday, October 9 at Buca di Beppo in the Kentlands starting at 5:30pm. The Frederick Chamber’s Generation Connects next event will be an Educational Breakfast Series held on Tuesday, September 10 at Ceresville Mansion starting at 7:30am.Register in advance at frederickchamber.org.
The GGCC’s Young Professionals program is a networking group of dedicated young professionals ranging in age from 21-35. Through the GGCC, young professionals can engage with other like-minded business professionals to further their career, strengthen their professional image or just meet new friends. The chamber supports the professional development of the next generation of leaders by providing opportunities for skill-building, information sharing, networking and growth of younger professionals in our chamber.
