GGCC presented its Annual Awards at the 74th Annual Gala Celebration & Awards Dinner, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Gaithersburg. The following awards were presented:
Young Professional of the Year: Kathryne Carter (Grace & Virtue Events), presented by Supporting Strategies
Small Business of the Year: Gaithersburg CPAs, presented by M&T Bank
Mid-Size Business of the Year: Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg, presented by PNC Bank
Nonprofit Organizations of the Year (awarded in September and recognized at Gala): Gaithersburg Beloved Comunity Initiative, and TLC- Treatment & Learning Centers, presented by Montgomery College
Additionally, the following special awards were presented:
“You Made a Difference Award” – presented to Dan Dellon (Gaithersburg CPAs) by 2023 Chair of the Board AJ Nwoga (M&T Bank)
President’s Award – presented to Philippa Channer (Channer Consulting) and Rebecca Cathcart (Randy Scritchfield & Assoc.) by GGCC President & CEO Paula Ross
